Union County offers a variety of exciting outdoor activities. During the summer, hike, bike or go camping in the Trailside Nature and Science Center, exercise on fitness trails or go boating in Warinanco Park. Winter activities include sledding and snowboarding in Lenape Park, skiing at Oak Ridge Park and ice skating in Briant Park Lake. Union County also has several historic sites, art exhibits throughout the year and a variety of restaurants.

Abuja International Restaurant serves authentic African cuisine with European and Asian influences.
Specials are akara banana, which is crushed fried cassava with banana and spinach feta triangles. Entrees include peanut stew, which is ground peanut cooked with meat or chicken with rice, and jerk chicken or goat. Grilled and rice dishes are also offered. A kid's menu is available.You can order online, and on-site and off-site catering services are offered. Abuja International Restaurant is open seven days a week.

My Cuban Rose

My Cuban Rose serves authentic Cuban cuisine in a casual atmosphere. Lunch specials include ground beef with potatoes and raisins, masitas de puerco, chicharron de pollo and bistec empanizado. Breaded chicken, pork roast, spicy oxtail and mussels in garlic and oil are just some of the entrees in the menu. Sandwiches and wraps are also served. Take-out and catering menus are available, and you can bring your own alcohol. My Cuban Rose also makes and sells hand-rolled cigars. The restaurant is open seven days a week, but delivery is not available on Sundays.

Van Gogh's Ear Cafe

Van Gogh's Ear Cafe is an eclectic coffee lounge and restaurant that serves coffees and teas and has a diverse menu. Lunch specials include fresh mozzarella and tomato sandwich, chicken ranchero wrap and BLT pita. Grilled steak kabobs, homemade quiche and salad, feta and spinach portobello and teriyaki salmon are the choices for entrees. Soups and salads, pizza and desserts are also available. On Tuesdays and Sundays, the restaurant has live musical entertainment including an open mic night. Van Gogh's Ear Cafe is open every day.
