Fred's Beach Haven Diner
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Fred's Beach Haven Diner is an enormous restaurant encompassing an entire block of Bay Avenue. The restaurant has a diner theme, complete with jukeboxes and long counter, but it also has an adjoining dining room. The breakfast and lunch menu offer a wide array of all the diner classics including omelets, pancakes, full cooked breakfasts, burgers and sandwiches. The corned beef hash remains a local favorite and has made Fred's a popular destination. Dinner entrees include a juicy meatloaf and Okie's Butcher Shop hamburgers with fries and brown gravy. The restaurant is a very popular place so be prepared for a wait. Fred's is open from mid-April through early October Monday to Friday for breakfast and lunch and on Saturdays and Sundays for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Panzone's Pizza & Pasta
Offering two award-winning locations on Long Beach Island, both in Beach Haven and slightly further north in Surf City, Panzone's Pizza is sure to sate your Italian food cravings. Known as "the place for pizza" by locals and tourists alike, Panzone's has been in business since 1980. Try the extra-thick Sicilian pie with homemade sauce and lashings of mozzarella cheese. Other Panzone's specialties include the chowder, and the restaurant is a yearly participant at the area "Chowderfest" competition. Tucker's
One of the best-kept secrets in Beach Haven is Tucker's. With no visible signage on the main street of Bay Avenue, it is a seafood gourmet's delight. The interior is reminiscent of a Boston seafood house with its dark woods, tile floor and forest green color scheme. Tucker's features a full bar and outdoor dining directly on the bay. For an appetizer try the guest favorite, fried tomatoes. Make sure to order the blackened swordfish with cilantro butter or the crab cakes, a definite crowd-pleaser. Enjoy your meal with a martini, margarita or specialty beer from the bar. The restaurant is family-friendly and offers a full kids menu. Shuffleboard is also available by the bar area in summer season. Tucker's is open year-round Monday through Sunday for lunch and dinner.
