Smokey Point is a commercial and industrial area north of Seattle on the east and west sides of Interstate 5. The eastern half of Smokey Point is part of the city of Arlington, while the western half is within the boundaries of the city of Marysville. One of the most popular recreational attractions accessible in Arlington is the Centennial Trail, a 17-mile paved walking and biking trail with a parallel path for horses.

The Quality Inn offers 52 guest rooms with free Internet access, microwaves, refrigerators, irons, desk areas, voice mail, in-room safes and free local calls. Hotel amenities include free deluxe continental breakfast, fitness room, on-site convenience store, guest laundry, a business center and available meeting room.
