The Town of Wallkill Golf Club
Wallkill Golf Club in Middletown opened to the general public in 1991 and is a New England style course. This club has a golf pro, a pro shop and a restaurant and bar on site. Tee times begin at 6 a.m. on the bent grass and rye fairways. Golf carts and clubs are available for rent; Wallkill does not allow walking the course. The 18 holes on this course are either around the lagoon or in wooded areas, and Golf Digest rates this course as a four star.

The Shawangunk Fish & Game Association
Shawangunk Fish & Game Association is a club that began in 1902. This club extends to its members a relaxing atmosphere to fish and hunt while bonding as friends. Membership is open to the public, and all ages are welcome to join. Activities offered by this club are camping, fishing, trap shooting, sporting clays shoots, rifle shoots, pistol shoots archery shoots, Sportsman Shows and turkey shoots. This club has its own property, with 200 acres for camping and 2,000 acres for hunting. The property also has lakes, rivers, and ponds for fishing. Shawangunk Fish & Club offers safety, wildlife and educational courses for its members, with emphasis on sportsmanship. New members are welcome to join and tour the facilities.

The Orange County Golf Club
The Orange County Golf Club opened in 1899 and is a private club that is open to members and their guests only. This club has an 18-hole course, and members and guest are encouraged to play in under four hours. Orange County Golf Club has a pro shop, a golf pro, a clubhouse and an outside patio that is frequently used for parties and wedding receptions. A bridge that extends the length of the Wallkill River is on the club grounds. Guest can also enjoy the swimming pool and tennis courts that are available. This club only extends membership by invitation from the board but does host functions for nonmembers in its club facilities.
