Carpinteria State Beach
Just 12 miles from Santa Barbara and located directly on the central coast is Carpinteria State Beach. The park was once the area where ancient Indians utilized the tar oozing from the rocks to build canoes. Today, visitors still can see the tar oozing from the area's rock formations. With four campgrounds offering 249 sites that mostly have full hook-up facilities, RVs will have no problem finding a place to camp. The maximum length allowed is 35 feet. The campground offers a visitor's center, camp store, dump station, restrooms, showers, picnic area and hiking trails. Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy the seals and sea lions that frequent the area from December through May. Water activities enjoyed on the 1-mile stretch of beach include swimming, surfing and fishing.

Doheny State Beach
Doheny State Beach in Orange County boasts being the only park within the county limits that offers beachfront camping. RV campers will find 120 full hook-up sites that offer a picnic table and fire ring. The park has bike and hiking trails, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts and lifeguards. There is a picnic area and various pavilions, snack bar, gift shop, visitor's center and bathrooms and showers. Water enthusiasts will enjoy swimming, surfing, surf fishing, lying in the sun or enjoying the spectacular views and various wildlife frequenting the park. Heritage Park is located across the street from Doheny State Beach.

San Elijo State Beach
Located on the coast in San Diego County is San Elijo State Beach. RV campers have sites on the park's high bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. All sites are full hook-up with fire rings and picnic tables. There are stairs leading down to the ocean shore. The park offers picnic areas, bathrooms, showers, a dump station and is handicap accessible. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park. Offshore from the park is a reef for diving and snorkeling. Guests can enjoy spending their time fishing, swimming, surfing or just relaxing in the sun.
