Rustic Family Cabins to Rent Close to Gurnee, Illinois
No matter who you are, everyone likes to have a nice week or weekend away from reality at some point and if you love the outdoors and nature, renting a cabin is an ideal option. Many cabin rentals offer a few bedrooms, fireplace, kitchen and bathroom. Others depending on how much you want to "rough" it offer only a few amenities.

Gurnee is located in Lake County, Illinois, and is a great place for a weekend getaway, family vacation or romantic evening with winter events for everyone. Gurnee offers plenty of winter sports like snowboarding, skiing and tubing. For those who would rather stay out of the cold, head over to the Genesse Theatre or Lincolnshire Marriott Theatre for a Broadway show. There are also other activities for the entire family, such as, the Long Grove Confectionery or a train ride at the Jelly Belly Factory.

After a long, but enjoyable day, head back to your rustic cabin, cook dinner and cuddle up next to a warm, crackling fire.
