Hotels in Rockville, IN
Rockville, a rustic Midwestern jewel in Indiana, was featured in Midwest Living Magazine in 2009 as one of the 15 Great Midwestern Winter Escapes and is known as "The Covered Bridge Capital of the World." The city hosts outdoor activities like golfing at Raccoon Lake Golf Course, horseback riding along Turkey Run State Park trails and canoeing at Sugar Creek. Rockville is also home to local events like the Rosedale Strawberry, the Mansfield Mushroom and the Covered Bridge festivals, and it hosts several hotels.

Parke Bridge Motel

Two blocks from the historic downtown area, Parke Bridge Motel beckons visitors to explore local attractions such as Turkey Run State Park. Only eight miles away, visitors can take in the rugged hiking trails by horseback or go canoeing along Sugar Creek while visiting the park. The motel's old-fashioned, wrap-around front porch encourages visitors to relax. The ten rooms--most of which are non-smoking--are decorated in themes like Covered Bridge, Amish Country and Billie Creek Village that highlight local attractions; additionally, there are two larger guestrooms in the main house. All rooms are at ground level with paved parking. The property offers pet-friendly accommodations for a small fee, although not in the larger guest rooms.
