Idaho Heritage Inn Bed & Breakfast

What began as a home built in 1904 for a Boise merchant is now the Idaho Heritage Inn Bed & Breakfast, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You'll have your choice of six renovated Victorian rooms or two rooms located in a restored 1912 fire station. All rooms have period furniture, a private bath, queen-size bed and free wireless internet access. Start the day with complimentary hot breakfast (stuffed French toast and baked German pancakes are favorites), and come back to the downstairs living room for wine and conversation at night.

For a romantic getaway, choose the Carriage House room, with a fireplace, wet bar and Jacuzzi tub. With a deck that overlooks the property's courtyard, it's designed for an intimate getaway. If you're visiting in spring or fall, try the Governor's Suite---this suite has a private enclosed sun porch as well as a large tub and walk-in shower.
