Manasota Beach Club
The Manasota Beach Club is celebrating its 50th year, with many loyal repeat customers, some of whom have been vacationing here since the beginning. Most of the 27 rental units scattered around the 25 acre property between the bay and the gulf are beachfront. The resort has added heated swimming pools, tennis courts, croquet and shuffleboard for guests' use. It also has sailing, kayaking and a fitness facility on the property. The cottages range in size from one bedroom with one bath, to three bedrooms and two baths with a private pool and dock. During the winter months, the resort offers the American Plan, which includes all meals.

Gulf Sunset Cottages
Charming and private, Gulf Sunset's two rental units are just a short walk from Stump Pass State Park and its nature trails and birdwatching opportunities. Located beachfront on Englewood Beach, Manasota Key, Florida, the cottage is reminiscent of vacations from a simpler time. Manasota Key has been spared the development of other barrier islands on the Gulf Coast, and remains largely natural and unspoiled. You can swim year round, and collect some of the thousands of shells and fossilized shark teeth the gulf deposits on the beach every morning. Surf fishing is good from the beach, and boating is close by at Lemon Bay. The cottage is divided into two units; the upstairs, Soul's Rest, has one bedroom and one bath, and gulf views from every room. Downstairs, Heart's Desire has two bedrooms, a den, and a deck on the beach. There is a shower on the beach side, and beach umbrellas, chairs and toys for guests to use, as well as a washer and dryer, wireless Internet, and carport space for four cars.
