Lake Luzerne is approximately 200 miles north of New York City, and is known as the "Gateway to the Adirondacks." Kayak or canoe down the Sacandaga or Hudson Rivers. Try trout fishing, camping or boating on one of seven spring-fed lakes. Surrounding forests and mountains create an ideal scenario for hikers and bicyclists.

Warren County Bikeway is a 9.5 miles of paved bikeway from Lake George to the Glens Falls Canal and suitable for all levels of participation. There are also various forms of lodging in the area.
