Bacco Ristorante

Bacco Ristorante is definitely an interesting and upscale choice for dining Italian in Southfield. An impressive dining room, bordered by wine racks and decorated with dark wood, a mural celebrating wine on the ceiling and white linen on the tables, invites guests in. The restaurant also has a cherrywood bar and an open patio for dining outdoors. The menu is a combination of unique pasta dishes and finely prepared meat entrees, including costoletta di maiale arrosto, a pan-roasted pork chop with shiitake mushrooms, apples, brandy and mustard sauce. On the pasta side, one of the special dishes is tagliolini alle vongole, which features fresh clams over pasta with a choice of white or red sauce. Bacco has a long wine list for diners to choose from.

Pi Restaurant

Pi Restaurant offers a unique interior with a long copper bar, martini lounge with couches, dining room with black faux-leather booths, a cigar bar and several TVs. In addition to some tapas and some pizza offerings, Pi's menu is filled with an eclectic mix of Italian and other European dishes. Fish is at the heart of the Italian menu with parmesan-encrusted walleye roasted with tomato, capers and olives and Atlantic salmon with in white wine sauce. Pi also offers outdoor patio dining and live entertainment at the restaurant four days a week.

Pasquales

Pasquales is just five miles from Southfield in Royal Oak, where the restaurant has been open for more than 50 years. Classically decorated with brass light fixtures, floral wallpaper and oak tables, Pasquales goes for the traditional touch on its menu also, with pizza and four kinds of spaghetti. The house special include five veal dishes and chicken with scaloppine sauce, which is a half of a chicken in wine, tomato and mushroom sauce.
