Wild Curry and Cha Gio
Originally opened in 1977 by Vietnamese-born chef Hang Thi Le, Wild Curry and Cha Gio is known for its superb authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Sample such crowd-pleasing favorites as the cha gio, Vietnamese spring rolls filled with julienned carrots, onions, mushrooms and bean sprouts, or the crispy butterfly shrimp in the shell served with a spicy dipping sauce. Wild Curry and Cha Gio is open daily for lunch and dinner.

Straits Restaurant
Featuring a blend of Singapore, Malaysian, Indonesian, Chinese, Indian and Vietnamese fare, Straits is a contemporary Asian hit in the Midtown area of Atlanta. Co-owned by chef Chris Yeo and rapper Chris Bridges, aka Ludacris, the establishment offers a "space-age" huge bar area and a swanky, hip vibe. Sample one or two of the house specialty dishes, including the kung pao lollipop (chicken leg with crushed peanuts and jalapeno peppers) or the banana blossom salad with grilled chicken, banana flowers, Asian pear, herbs and Vietnamese vinaigrette. It is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday and for lunch and dinner on Sundays, and closed on Mondays.
