The Roman Nose State Park, named after the Cheyenne tribal chief who called it home during the late 1800s, offers 10 fully furnished cabins that include satellite TV, a kitchen, bedroom and bath. Situated 80 miles northwest of Oklahoma City, the park guests will find opportunities for outdoor recreation such as fishing and boating, a natural underground river named Everlasting Waters to explore, bike trails, swimming pool and paddleboat and canoe rentals. During the summer months, guests can rent a tepee for the night. On-site stables provide guests with horses to explore the park via trails that wind through the gypsum outcroppings. Horse camps are also available for those who wish to ride their own. The 18-hole golf course will challenge golfers with its hilly terrain and the red, rocky sandstone landscape.
