Situated on the banks of the Cumberland River, Nashville, Tennessee, is known as Music City U.S.A. and is home to country music destinations like the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame. The Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center is right on the banks of the Cumberland River and a short drive or riverboat ride to downtown Nashville, which has a nightclub, golf course, the Ryman Auditorium (the former home of the Grand Ole Opry), the Wildhorse Saloon and the General Jackson Showboat - a river paddle boat with four decks and a two-story Victorian theater on board. The Hermitage Hotel

The Hermitage Hotel is located in downtown Nashville and was commissioned to be built by local residents in 1908. On the site that once housed Andrew Jackson and completed in 1910, builders used, according to the hotel, "Italian sienna marble in the entrance; wall panels of Russian walnut; a cut, stained glass ceiling in the vaulted lobby; Persian rugs; and massive, overstuffed furniture." All guests are invited to enjoy the 24-hour room service, fitness center, concierge service, massage therapy, on-site business services, on-call limousine service, complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Family services like child care care also available, as are "Pampered Pet" services. All rooms and suites feature marble bath vanities, soaking tubs, wireless Internet, cable TV, refined linens, plush towels, down comforters with duvets, and robes.
