Cabins on Lake George in Colorado
Lake George can be found nestled in the Pike National Forest just a few miles northwest of Colorado Springs in Colorado. The small town is home to a general store and a motel, but nearby campgrounds, RV parks and ranches offer other lodging options. The lake, which runs through the town, is fed by the South Platte River and offers visitors a variety of water activities such as boating, canoeing, fishing and swimming.

Lake George Cabins and RV Park

Lake George Cabins and RV Park is located on the lake by Lake George Dam and close to the Hankins Hiking Trail. The campgrounds provide a variety of lodging options such as RV hookups, tent sites and various size sleeper cabins with picnic tables and barbecue grills. Visitors can enjoy fishing, boating, hiking and wildlife viewing. The facility includes a clean bathhouse and dumping station.

M-Lazy-C Ranch

The M-Lazy-C Ranch is a family-owned working Colorado cattle ranch located in Lake George just west of Colorado Springs. Guests can enjoy the hot tub as well as activities such as horseshoes, volleyball, cattle drives, hay rides, a shooting range, roping dummies and hiking trails. Rafting, swimming and fishing on Lake George are just a short drive away. The M-Lazy-C Ranch offers guests their choice of cabins that originally were built for the homestead's working cowboys but have all been remodeled and feature wood-burning stoves, microwaves, small refrigerators and porches. Other lodging options include tent sites and RV hookups.

Tarryall River Ranch

The Tarryall River Ranch is located in Lake George in the central Rocky Mountains adjoining the Lost Creek Wilderness Area. Pike's Peak is located just to the southeast of the ranch. Guests can choose from a large selection of cabins, all within walking distance of the dining room, river and corral. All cabins are decorated with antiques and daily housekeeping is provided. The cabins include two bedrooms and a private bath. Amenities include a heated swimming pool, hot tub, recreation hall, children's jungle gym, horseshoe pit, volleyball court, gold panning, hiking trails and a petting zoo.
