Tonawanda is a western New York town located on the Niagara River and Erie Canal. Convenient to both Buffalo and Niagara Falls, Tonawanda is host to many festivals and concerts, often centered on the generous waterfront. There are plenty of places to dock a motor boat as well as areas to kayak, canoe and fish. Tonawanda is a 15-20 minute drive to Niagara Falls, where there are hiking trails, jet boat rides and a variety of other activities available. Several hotels and motels inhabit the Tonawanda area.
