For those who cannot book a room at General Smalls Inn, the closest hotel to the base is the Rodeway Inn Suites. Located just 1.4 miles from base, this hotel offers easy access to the base as well as Lockheed Martin, the Virginia Air and Space Center, Christopher Newport University and Busch Gardens Europe theme park. The rooms have cable TV and free Internet access.
