Tim Finnegan's Irish Restaurant & Pub
The name of this restaurant is taken from the main character of Finnegan's Wake, published in 1939 and written by James Joyce. The pub is open for lunch and dinner and prices are moderate. There is a good variety of beer, ale and stout (both bottled and draft), 16 different Irish whiskeys and seven types of wine.
The menu is mostly American tried-and-true bar food like chicken fingers, burgers and sandwiches, which is to be expected--the Irish aren't traditionally known for their inventive cuisine. However, there are a few interesting items, such as the corned beef and cabbage taquitos served with mustard and salsa verde. Taquitos are small corn tacos wrapped around a filling and then deep fried.
Also on the menu are true Irish dishes like mussels and leeks, shepherd's pie made with lamb and vegetables in a rich lamb gravy, as well as champ, a dish of mashed potatoes, scallions, butter and cream, a very traditional Irish dish.

Seamus McCaffrey's Irish Pub & Restaurant
Irish whiskey, scotch, beer, stout and ale dominate the bar at Seamus McCaffrey's, which also has 14 different wines available, most by the glass as well as by the bottle. Prices are reasonable and the pub is open for dinner late into the night.
The menu has the usual selection of burgers, salads and sandwiches. McCaffrey's also offers corned beef, cabbage and potatoes served with a side of Irish soda bread; steak and kidney pie, with mushrooms taking the place of the kidneys; and shepherd's pie made with ground beef instead of lamb. One of the more intriguing dishes is boxty, a grilled potato and flour pancake made with both grated raw potato and mashed potatoes. McCaffrey's tops the boxty with your choice of chicken in cream sauce, vegetables in cream sauce, corned beef and cabbage or steak and Guinness stout.

The Dubliner Irish Pub and Restaurant
There is live entertainment nearly every night at the Dubliner, along with NFL and MLB games on big screen TV. The restaurant is on the small side, but has a big heart. Prices are moderate and it is open for lunch and dinner. Of course, beer and wine are available. The Dubliner also provides wireless Internet access.
Mostly American food dominates the menu, but there are several Irish dishes, as well, including bangers and mash--Irish sausages served with mashed potatoes; Guinness beef stew--chunks of tender beef, carrots and onions served with colcannon (mashed potatoes and cabbage); and Irish breakfast--fried eggs, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, beans, brown bread, and black and white pudding. Black and white pudding is a sausage made of blood, bread and seasonings (you might want to ask for it on the side).
