One of the more upscale Italian restaurant choices in Athens is Depalma's Italian Café, which offers various pasta dishes, pizza and plenty of wine choices. For antipasti, focaccia and breadsticks stuffed with onion and spinach or meatballs are favorites among locals. Entrees include basic pasta dishes, baked penne, seafood risotto and pizza or calzones. Although Depalma's original location is in downtown Athens on East Broad Street, it also has locations on the east side at 1965 Barnett Shoals Road and on the west side at 2080 Timothy Road. Each location offers lunch and dinner.
