Kow Kow Restaurant

Kow Kow first opened its doors in 1949 as a take-out only restaurant. Six decades later, the original owner, Don Moy, still enjoys treating customers to his old family recipes, delivering authentic Chinese cuisine seven days a week. Special vegetarian, extra spicy and tofu/bean cake dishes are available. Menu items include Mongolian beef or chicken, subgum pork wonton, sweet and sour duck and orange chicken. Numerous steak and seafood entrees are also offered. Dine-in and carry-out services are both currently available.

Mee Mah Restaurant

MeeMah is a family-run restaurant that prides itself on the freshest ingredients and catering to every individual customer's specific needs. "We'll prepare a meal according to your dietary limitations or taste..." says owner Sandy Wong. Open seven days a week, MeeMah's also hosts private parties and caters. Menu items range from a traditional pupu tray to chop suey and egg foo young. Pork, chicken, beef, shrimp and vegetable options are all available. Entree dishes include sesame chicken, crispy duck and sweet and sour shrimp. The "chef's suggestions" are plentiful as well as the weekday lunch box specials. Check out the family dinners that serve between two and six to ensure evening dinners run without effort.

Great Beijing

Locals flock to Great Beijing because of its American Chinese entrees. A secret menu, Eastern Chinese, is available upon request and offers authentic Korean dishes. Regulars claim you must try the "Three Flavor Hot Noodle Soup." Decor is simple and comfortable and service is quick and courteous. Portions are large, food is well prepared and appropriately seasoned and prices are very inexpensive. Menu dishes include crab meat rangoon and mandarin gan pong shrimp. The Mongolian beef is a best seller.
