Gluten-Free Restaurants in Dallas, Texas

Gluten-Free Restaurants in Dallas, Texas
When following a gluten free diet, it can be difficult to dine out, particularly when trying to explain to a server what ingredients are safe for you to eat. Whether eating gluten free by choice or due to Celiac Sprue disease or a gluten sensitivity, going to a restaurant can be risky. Finding a restaurant that already has gluten-free options identified on their menu, or that calls out gluten as an allergen or on their nutritional information, makes the dining experience much more pleasant since the restaurant can accommodate your needs.

P.F. Chang's China Bistro (multiple locations)

P.F. Chang's has become exceptionally aware of the allergens in their
food, and has produced gluten-free options that are available on the
backside of their standard menu. Although limited with one gluten free
starter, soup, noodle dish and dessert option, patrons can't go wrong
with "Philip's Better Lemon Chicken." Between the well balanced
tartness of the sauce and the succulence of the chicken, this dish is
a keeper. Paired with a side of cucumbers, it's a meal to remember.

Kona Grill

This fusion restaurant isn't just delicious -- it's beautiful. The
amazing entryway fish tank is just the beginning of the opulence.
Although the gluten free menu doesn't have as many options as other
restaurants, what they do provide (or modify) is tasty. The Kona Strip
steaks are notoriously good, as well as the ahi and pork tenderloin
dishes. The accompanying cheddar mashed potatoes are note-worthy as
well -- filling, rich, and flavorful. Save room for dessert and try the
passion fruit crème brulee -- unforgettable.

Cozymel's Mexican Grill

Cozymel's is very sensitive towards their gluten-free customers, and
has identified sauces and created alternatives to accommodate gluten
sensitivities. Publishing specific gluten-allergen information on
their website has made the dining experience much easier. The chicken
or pork enchilada plates (with ranchero or verde sauce) are juicy and
filling. Cozymel's also excels with their chicken and pork tacos
(without picadillo), as well as their fish taco plate.
