Thai Basil
While predominantly a purveyor of Thai food, Thai Basil joins the ranks of an increasing number of Asian restaurants in offering selections from other countries of the Orient as well. For example, the classic Tom Yum and Tom Kha Gai soups of Thailand are listed with China's well-known Wonton and Japan's Miso. Thailand's most famous noodle dish, Pad Thai, shares the page with Singapore Noodles and the Land of the Rising Sun's Yaki Soba. The eatery carries the mixture even further with an extensive sushi menu. Two pieces of a basic nigiri sushi such as inari starts at $3.00, moving up to items like the Spider roll for $10.50. Soups, salads and starters range from $2.00 to $4.95. Entrees begin at $5.50 for fried rice up to $15.99 for the Panang Fish.
