Italian Restaurants in Urbana, Illinois

Italian Restaurants in Urbana, Illinois
One of the most popular styles of foods in America these days is Italian, which couldn't be truer for the students at the University of Illinois. Urbana offers some of the finest Italian dining in central Illinois. Urbana-Champaign is a crowded college area, but if you search around the campus you'll find plenty of parks and hiking areas too.

Rosati's

One of the only restaurants in the area that offer Chicago-style deep dish, Rosati's is a campus favorite for dates, family outings and group events. Located on the east edge of campus next to the Krannert Center for Performing Arts, Rosati's will deliver any meal to anywhere in the area for a small fee.

Great Impasta

For a slightly more upscale Italian restaurant that isn't anchored by pizza, try the Great Impasta. Reasonably priced, it offers many vegetarian options and light meals. It's located just a few blocks south of the Crystal Lake park, where you can walk off your meal before the night ends.

Biaggi's

Technically located in Champaign, Biaggi's may be the most popular Italian spot in the University of Illinois area. They offer gluten-free dishes and a large selection of wines. It's also just a few yards away from Mattis Lake in Mattis Park. For a serene walk by the water, make sure to head over to Mattis before or after your meal.
