Mt. Charleston, Nevada RV Parks
Mt. Charleston, Nevada is part of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest's Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. Located about half an hour from Las Vegas, this area is comprised of more than 300,000 acres of mountainous, forested woodlands, streams and desert. Rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and whitewater rafting are popular summertime activities at Mt Charleston. In the winter, visitors enjoy snowshoeing, ice fishing, sledding and skiing. Campgrounds and RV parks are located throughout the park and in the desert below.

Kyle Canyon Campground

At an elevation of 6,800 feet, Kyle Canyon has a primitive, seasonal campground with RV spaces. No electrical hookups are provided and water spigots are shared between neighboring sites. The area is wooded and is situated along the edge of a stream that runs the floor of the canyon. Fishing, hiking and mountain biking in the cool mountain air are the main attractions. This facility has vault toilets, paved roads, faucets with running water and established hiking trails.

Fletcher View

About 28 miles from Las Vegas and 7,000 feet above sea level, the Fletcher View campground welcomes RV campers. Electrical hookups and drinking water are available. It's located at the bottom of a canyon where pine trees parallel the creek bed. Fletcher View is open all year, with snow present from November to March. This park has an accessible bathroom, dumpsters, paved roads, pressurized water, picnic tables and trails for hiking, bicycling and nature walks.

Nevada Treasure RV Resort And Spa‎

For luxury RV camping near Mt. Charleston, check out the Nevada Treasure RV Resort in Pahrump. Pahrump is west of Mt. Charleston and provides mature, manicured landscaping and a multi-tiered tropical waterfall swimming pool. Formerly the Seibt Desert Retreat, this RV Park has a reputation for being sparkling clean. It offers an on-site bar and grill that serves three meals a day, a fitness center, a nine-hole putting green and a six-lane bowling alley. In addition to the fancy swimming pool, guests enjoy private men's and women's locker rooms with private showers, a steam room, a sauna and a whirlpool that are open 24 hours a day. Some RV sites offer gazebos and barbecues. This park has a laundry facility, convention space and 24-hour security.
