Happy Traveler RV Park has RV sites including pull-throughs, plus cabins and travel trailers available for its guests. The park has full hookups, laundry facilities, cable TV and heated pool. On-site activities include shuffle board, horseshoes and pingpong. Busch Gardens is about five miles away. Other local attractions include Adventure Island, Canoe Escape, Hillsborough River State Park and the Florida Aquarium.

Alafia River State Park offers quick access to many recreational activities such as fishing, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding and hiking. Thirty RV sites with 50-amp service are available as well as water and restroom facilities, independent dump and picnic shelters. The park has bicycle, horseback riding and hiking trails to one of its many lakes where visitors can fish and view the wildlife.
