Visitors of Silver Bay, Minn., often marvel at its shorelines and cliffs overlooking Lake Superior--the largest of the Great Lakes of North America. Aside from the state park, other local attractions include Temperance River, Palisade Head, Gooseberry Falls and the Split Rock Lighthouse.

Bob's Cabins on Lake Superior‎

Bob's Cabins is a resort located on the north shore of Lake Superior. Cabin amenities include kitchenettes, shower, gas heat and decks. Guests can relax and enjoy activities such as hiking, kayaking, canoeing and biking. Hikers can hike the Superior Hiking Trail, which has more than 200 miles right by the north shore of Lake Superior. Nearby attractions include Two Harbors and Duluth.

Castle Haven Cabins

Located on the north shore of Lake Superior, Castle Haven offer cabins with many luxurious amenities. Cabins are open year-round and feature knotty pine interior, hardwood floors and fireplaces. Castle Haven also has a 2.5-mile trail for hiking and cross-country skiing in the winter. Local attractions offer even more recreational opportunities. Just nearby are Gooseberry Falls State Park, Superior Hiking Trail, Duluth & Canal Park and Split Rock Lighthouse State Park.
