Egg Harbor Township is a large municipality covering more than 68 square miles in New Jersey. The town's interesting moniker was created by explorer Cornelius Jacobsen, who commented upon the abundance of waterfowl eggs in the area. Visitors to the area enjoy playing a round of golf at the Irish-themed McCullough's Emerald Links or getting some fresh air while strolling through one of the several area parks. There is also a diverse array of restaurants in the area.

Rama Thai

The Rama Thai restaurant offers a variety of Thai food favorites to diners in Egg Harbor Township. The restaurant features a neutral decor accented by Thai print cloths that adorn the dining room tables. Dark wood tones and recessed lighting are utilized throughout the dining room in an attempt to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant menu offers an extensive selection of dishes featuring curry and prepared using traditional Thai preparation techniques. Popular menu options include crispy basil duck, pad thai noodles and gang panang curry. A vegetarian menu is also available. Diners can sample classic Thai desserts including homemade Thai coffee cheesecake and mango with sticky rice, which is available seasonally.

East Bay Crab & Grille

East Bay Crab & Grille is widely known as the home of Taz, the world's largest inflatable crab. The imposing Taz, who measures 80 feet in diameter, sits perched atop the restaurant roof during the summer months. The restaurant is neutrally decorated in traditional diner fashion and features a family-friendly atmosphere. Patrons can select from an a la carte menu or enjoy the buffet, which is offered during lunch and dinner daily. Popular menu options include crab stuffed jumbo shrimp, stuffed tilapia and chicken romero. A children's menu is also available. The restaurant features a gift shop that offers an eclectic assortment of souvenirs, including a crab hat. The East Bay Crab & Grille offers private dining areas that can accommodate up to 100 individuals. An economically priced pre-planned catering menu is available for on-site events.

Library III

Library III is a casual steakhouse in Egg Harbor Township. The restaurant is decorated with an assortment of eclectic accessories. Wood tones and bold black are used throughout the dining area. A bar sits adjacent to the dining room and offers an array of wines, beers and specialty cocktails. The restaurant features an extensive salad bar that contains a plethora of fresh salad ingredients. The steak by the ounce, original recipe prime rib and specially prepared seafood set this restaurant apart from competitors. All of the restaurant's dinner options come with access to the well-appointed salad bar. An assortment of economically priced sandwiches are available through the restaurant bar. Library III regularly features live entertainment four days a week. A dining room, which can accommodate up to 50 people, is available for reservation. Dinner is served at Library III seven days a week.
