Motels in Isle, Minnesota

Motels in Isle, Minnesota
Isle, Minnesota, is a small town on the coast of Mille Lacs Lake in, roughly, the center of the state. According to the 2000 census, the town is home to only about 700 people, but it thrives on tourism. Isle is a great resort spot and a place to get away to try some relaxing outdoor activities. Locally known as the "Walleye Capital of the World" because of its extensive fishing opportunities, you can enjoy the sport year-round with both the beauty of Mille Lacs Lake in the summer, and the thrills of ice fishing on it in the winter. You also can try your hand at water sports and hiking in the warmer seasons, as well as multiple snowmobile trails in the winter. Any time of the year, however, you will need a place to stay to thoroughly enjoy it all.

McQuoid's Inn on Mille Lacs

Depending on what you need, there are rooms that offer microwaves and refrigerators as well. Each room has wireless Internet access. If hotel rooms aren't what you're looking for, you can opt for cabins, that come with full kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms (two-, four- or five-bedroom cabins are available).
