Cottages in Navarre Beach, Florida

Navarre Beach, in the northern panhandle area of Florida, is a quiet, peaceful area with Navarre Beach State Park nearby. It is a beautiful area that will remain largely undeveloped. Riding along the bike path will provide views like no other. There are camping facilities, a fishing pier, a playground, and pavilions for picnics. Wildlife is plentiful, and a marine sanctuary is in development. Staying in a cottage on Navarre Beach gets you close to it all.

At Ease

The cottage "At Ease" is located at Navarre Beach on Santa Rosa Island. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom, and also a convertible sofa/bed for additional sleeping area, and sleeps four to six. It's a short walk to either the sound beach or ocean beach, and the house also has great views of the marina and sailboats from either of two decks. The cottage is only 2 miles from the Gulf Islands National Seashore, and there are biking and walking trails nearby. The private beach on the Sound side of the cottage is shallow and warm. Rates for 2010 range from $600 to $1,000 per week, depending on season.

Windjammer Cottage

The Windjammer cottage on Navarre Beach is a cozy and older waterfront home on the Sound. With a loft for lots of sleeping room, it can sleep up to nine people comfortably. The house has a dual-tiered deck on the Sound side for amazing views and catching the sunset. It also has a private boat dock for fishing and swimming with an attached swimming ladder. Bring your fishing rods and tackle box and a boat for lots of water-filled fun. Inside, the cottage is fully-equipped, with a complete kitchen setup, TV and VCR with cable and DVD player. Rates range from $800 to $1,350 a week, depending upon season and availability.

Sea Breeze

Sea Breeze offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with room for up to eight people, and a private boat slip and fishing pier. It's also close to the community pool, and just 300 yards to the beach. The house is well decorated and has flat screen TVs and DVD players in the bedrooms and living room, and luxery linens on all of the beds. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and a charcoal grill is on the deck for grilling. If cooking is off your agenda, the cottage is also within walking distance of two restaurants on the beach. Rates range from $1,680 to $2,100 per week, depending on season.
