Restaurants in Northfield, New Jersey

Northfield NJ is located near Atlantic City and is only 10 minutes from the seacoast. In addition to have numerous restaurant selections, it also contains Birch Grove Park and Family Campground on Burton Ave which has over 50 camp sites over 271 wooded acres. It offers laundry facilities, fishing, and nature trails for hiking and jogging and seasonal evening concerts. This area of New Jersey also has Lakes Bay recreation area where people can enjoy non-motorized activities. The preserve is open to the public but has strict rules and guidelines for keep the lake pristine and unpolluted.

Formica Bakery Café is a nearly century old, family run business that specializes in baked breads, Italian pastries, and a selection of fresh made breakfast and lunch sandwiches ranging from $2.99 to $7.99. Most can be made using their homemade multigrain bread, biscuits or English muffins. They do offer healthy wraps and salads for lighter appetites. Formica's also serves Seattle's Best coffee. Formica's is only a half mile, a short 2 minute ride away from Birch Grove Park and Family Campground.

Giovanni's Best of Italy

Giovanni's Best of Italy is a family restaurant specializing in hot and cold subs, pizza, homemade Italian entrees and a large seafood selection. Ingredients are fresh and breads are homemade. Prices are very reasonable ranging from $4.25 to $6 for a sub, pizzas from $4.95 (for a personal pizza) to $20 for a Sicilian deluxe. Entrees range from $12.95 for veal cutlet to $15.95 for a veal and shrimp combination parmigiana. Giovanni's is 1.7 miles away from Birch Grove Park.

Ventura's Offshore Cafe

Ventura's offers a cozy, comfortable restaurant complete with fireplace and sportsmen's bar with Plasma TVs. Attire is casual and comfortable. They have comprehensive menu selections from lunch and dinner and boast 100% all natural ingredients. Appetizers range from $5-$13, soups and salads $6 to $14, sandwiches $6 to $11 and entrees between $15 and $36. Ventura's is also happy to offer a great kids menu for smaller diners. Ventura's is about 15 minutes away from New Jersey's Lakes Bay Preserve where you can go windsurfing, fishing and other non-motorized recreational activities.
