Cameron, Arizona, RV Parks
Cameron, a small town near the Grand Canyon National Park, lies steeped in Grand Canyon history and tourism. The Cameron Trading Post provides the only RV park near the town, but the area offers several other parks. The closest town, Tuba City, 25 miles to the north, provides the closest RV park to Cameron besides the Trading Post. You can also find RV spaces inside the National Park, about 60 miles west of Cameron. Once inside the park, enjoy the numerous hiking trails and scenic views of the Grand Canyon.

Cameron Trading Post

This family- and pet-friendly 35-site park has hookups for sewer, water and electric, although it does not provide 50-amp service. The grounds also include a hotel, gift shop, restaurant and a path through its beautiful garden. The park lies 30 miles west of Cameron, halfway to the Grand Canyon, and only 89 miles from Lake Powell and 70 miles from the Navajo National Monument.

Quality Inn and RV Park

Located in Tuba City, the Quality Inn provides the closest RV park to Cameron besides the Trading Post. Located behind the hotel, it has received a mixture of negative and positive reviews. It offers hookups for water, sewer and electric, including 50 amps. The RV park has shade trees and tent sites, and it allows pets. Most visitors use this park as a stopping point on their way to the Grand Canyon.

Desert View Campground

This National Park Service campground, located at the entrance to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, offers 50 small sites without hookups and imposes a maximum RV length of 30 feet. Available on a first-come-first served basis, the sites fill up quickly in the summer months. The park has a seven-day maximum stay and charges $12 per day.
