Steak Restaurants in Northern Seattle, Washington

Seattle offers a wide array of water and mountain activities for recreational enthusiasts. The northern half of the city is home to many attractions and many well-known restaurants including several steak houses. Greenlake is a 323-acre park with a 2.8-mile walking and biking paths. There's also swimming, playgrounds and athletic fields. Golden Gardens is located in Ballard, a northwestern suburb. It features 87 acres of sandy beaches, hiking on forest trails, fire pits and an off-leash dog area.

Stanford's Restaurant and Bar at Northgate

Stanford's opens daily at 11 a.m., offering happy hour bar specials and a full dining menu for lunch and dinner. Featured items include appetizers such as grilled Portobello mushrooms, homemade soups, salads as sides or entrees

Also on the menu are signature sandwichs, pesto-seared halibut, baby-back ribs, gourmet burgers, and wood-fired steaks including top sirloin, rib eye, filet mignon and prime rib. Stanford's is located just off Interstate 5 near Northgate Mall, about eight miles north of downtown Seattle.

Scott's Bar and Grill

Scott's Bar and Grill is located on the border of King and Snohomish counties in Edmonds, four miles north of the Seattle city limits. A popular lunch and happy hour destination, Scott's serves appetizers, salads, burgers, four cuts of steak, pasta and seafood.

Happy hour specials include half-price appetizers, available daily in the lounge from 3 to 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to closing.

BluWater Bistro on Greenlake

The BluWater Bistro is located on Greenlake Drive, directly across from the lake, and offers seasonal outdoor dining on a patio or next to large roll-up windows. Meal service includes weekend brunch, lunch, dinner and happy hour specials.

Steak options feature a New York steak sandwich for lunch, or a cowboy rib eye, baseball-cut prime sirloin, Nebraska New York steak for dinner, and a prime rib special served Friday and Saturday nights.

Other menu items include pizza, seafood, meatloaf, chicken, soup and salads.
