All of the décor is traditional, with plush leather sofas and dark wood furniture. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The River Spirit offers spectacular views of the mountains. The river is close by and is convenient for those who enjoy canoeing, rafting, swimming and fishing. For guests staying in the Charleston Cabin--a two-bedroom private cottage--an in-house massage can be requested, and bikes are also available upon request.

Mountainside Cabins

For those seeking to escape in remote accommodations, Mountainside Cabins has several cabins available, each with a private backyard. The cabins come complete with picnic tables, campfire sites and barbecue pits. The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee and linens, and even movies are available for a lazy evening. The cabins are designed in authentic alpine style, with floor-to-ceiling wood paneling and touches of forest green. Each cabin has a spacious living room, kitchen and one bedroom. Each of the four cabins can accommodate up to four people. Mountainside Cabins is one of the more economical destinations in the area.

Mabel and Bob Lemon own and operate two cabins, Trout Haven and Country View, set within beautiful mountain scenery. Each cabin has one bedroom and large living and kitchen areas with spacious cathedral ceilings. Both of the cabins have traditional furnishings and are separated by a large picnic area. These cabins can booked as part of a vacation package both for those who wish to go sightseeing or to relax. Packages include massages, outdoor Jacuzzis, winery tours, whitewater rafting and hot-air balloon rides, to name a few.
