The building was first erected in 1936 and has since become a popular destination for both local and visiting diners. Steve and Cookies by the Bay combines an oyster bar, restaurant and pub all in one. Another highlight of this restaurant is that it is not seasonably open and prides itself on being available every night of the week. The dining room is massive, with its 11 foot windows giving guests a view of the inland waterway. Some of the favorites from the menu include the whole steamed Maine lobster and the crispy roast duck with bourbon sweet potatoes. Steve and Cookies by the Bay also offers live music every night.
