Canyon Park, a neighborhood in Bothell, Wash., is conveniently located near the intersection of Interstate 405 and the Bothell-Everett Highway, and it is home to the University of Washington's Bothell campus. Recreational opportunities include access to 32-mile Burke-Gilman Trail, a paved pathway for walking and cycling, 5.87-acre Bothell Landing located along the Sammamish River, and 19.5-acre Blyth Park, the largest in Bothell, featuring walking trails, picnic shelters and a play area.

Siam Bothell is open weekdays from 11:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m., except Fridays when closing is 10:30 p.m. Weekend hours are from noon until 9 p.m. on Sundays and 10:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Lunch is served until 3 p.m. and includes a variety of noodle soups, curry, pad Thai and four combination plates. Dinner options include appetizers such as salmon rolls, soup, salad, noodles such as drunken noodle, eight types of curry, house specialties such as garlic short ribs, wok stir fries, seafood and vegetarian entrees such as spicy eggplant.

Pen Thai is located downtown Bothell on Main Street, adjacent to the Canyon Park neighborhood, and parking is available on the street or in a reserved lot behind the restaurant. Lunch hours are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, and dinner is served from 5 to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 3 to 10 p.m. on weekends. Twenty-five lunch dishes such as chicken curry and heavenly beef are available with soup or salad and rice and can be customized according to level of heat from mild to extra hot. Dinner options include appetizers, soups, salads, entrees such as golden duck and Thai barbecue chicken, curries, seafood, noodles, rice and house specialties such as sizzling golden chicken and crispy cashew nut prawns. A separate vegetarian menu also is available.

Thai Bistro Mill Creek

Thai Bistro, located in Mill Creek just north of Canyon Park, describes its cuisine as "the finest Thai food with our excellent team of chefs preparing your dishes using the freshest ingredients, herbs, spices and Asian vegetables." Lunch is served from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and sample dishes include red curry chicken and showering rama with chicken. Dinner hours last until 9 every night except Fridays and Saturdays, when Thai Bistro stays open until 10 p.m. Dishes include hot pot treasures, steak curry, noodle dishes and totally veggies.
