Motels in Brimley, Michigan

Perched on the shores of Lake Superior, Brimley offers some of the most scenic and serene venues in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The remote area is perfect for hiking, camping, and a variety of water sports.

Among the natural attractions in the area are both Lower Tahquamenon River Falls and Soo Rapids Falls, two of the Upper Peninsula's many spectacular waterfalls. The falls are both accessible by established trails.

Also nearby is Brimley State Park. The 160-acre park, one of Michigan's oldest, includes a stretch of beach overlooking Lake Superior's Whitefish Bay. While the Brimley State Park lacks any official hiking trails, there are many miles of trails to explore in the adjacent Hiawatha National Forest.

Willabee's Motel

On the banks of the Waishkey River is Willabee's Motel, a 35-unit motel newly built in 1999. Most rooms are barrier-free and are available in both smoking and non-smoking.

Rooms include refrigerators, cable television, and free wireless Internet. A microwave is available for guest use in the lobby as well. Guests are welcome to enjoy free coffee and tea and to relax on the motel's riverside deck.

Northwood Trails Cabins

Northwoods Trails Cabins is a year-round resort catering specifically to outdoors enthusiasts. The resort is located in the Hiawatha National Forest, giving guests access to everything nature has to offer right outside their doors.

Accommodations are provided in two cabins and two bunkhouses, each sleeping between 6 and 13 people. All are furnished and stocked with everything you will need to enjoy your stay except for towels and toiletries.

Bay Mills Casino and Resort

The hotel at the Bay Mills Casino is home to some of Brimley's most exclusive and luxurious accommodations. Nearly every room features views of Whitefish Bay, and all are spacious and decorated to feel more like a private cabin than just a hotel room.

All suites include jacuzzi tubs for the ultimate in relaxation. The resort also features four restaurants, offering everything from deli-style meals to fine dining. Free shuttle bus service is available to and from the casino and other area attractions. Guests with boats are also treated to free use of the resort's marina.
