The restaurant is ideal for history lovers, as the building was once a stop on the anti-slavery Underground Railroad. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and overlooks the Schuylkill Canal. The restaurant offers a wide variety of entrees, including hamburgers, pork chops, chicken dishes, clams and salad. Fitzwater Station offers a happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday,and nightly live entertainment, including karaoke on Thursdays and quizzes on Friday evenings. Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery

Another choice for diners visiting the Valley Forge National Historical Park is Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery, located just 2 miles away in neighboring King of Prussia. Established in 2001, this restaurant features classic pub dishes including seared ahi tuna, hamburgers and Asiago cheese dip with beer bread. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of beers, including an IPA and Munich lager. Entrees are reasonably priced and the restaurant offers a casual, environment with low lighting and music. Rock Bottom also offers a nightly happy hour from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Beer specials, including $2 pints on Thursdays and $6 growler refills on Mondays, are also available. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
