If water skiing and boating are your activities of choice, try this shorefront cabin. The four-bedroom rental can accommodate as many as eight guests, so bring your friends and family.

Located on the south shore of Deep Creek Lake, the cabin is more secluded than many of the area's other rentals. When you're outside, you'll have a spacious, wooded backyard, a private dock and a large deck. When you head indoors, the cabin has no shortage of amenities. It comes equipped with free dial-up Internet, a washer and dryer, a gas fireplace and a dishwasher.

The cabin is available for rent all year with rates varying each season. Pets are allowed with an additional fee, as of January 2010.

Harvest Moon Cabin

At this cabin, hiking trails are at your doorstep. The woodsy, five-bedroom cabin sleeps up to 14 guests and is adjacent to Deep Creek State Park, which has intermediate trails ranging from .5 miles to 2.5 miles long. For water enthusiasts, there is also lake access and a dock right across the street.

With a sun room, a large deck and an outdoor hot tub, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the view around this cabin. Inside it offers conveniences such as a wood fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen and wireless Internet.

Harvest Moon Cabin is available year-round and is pet friendly without additional charge, as of January 2010.
