St. Elmo's Steak House

St. Elmo's is well known for the variety and quality of steaks. It has been a staple in the area since 1902, serving specialty cut steaks like such as the 24-ounce bone-In KC strip and the 14 ounce rib-eye. In addition to steaks, the restaurant menu includes seafood, and there is an extensive wine list along with cocktails and beers.

The Rathskeller

The Rathskeller serves authentic German food and beverages from its historic downtown building. It is the city's oldest operational restaurant. Included on the menu are of seafood, steaks and vegetarian meals. The bar is stocked with 12 imported draft beers and more than 50 imported bottled beers. Live music from local bands plays each night.
