For those in the mood for Irish food, there are a number of restaurants that deliver traditional fare from the Emerald Isle.

Kieran's Irish Pub

Kieran's Irish Pub offers classic Irish fare in an environment that is reminiscent of an authentic Irish public house. The restaurant features a large central bar from which patrons can acquire pints of popular Irish stouts as well as an assortment of beers, by-the-glass wines and cocktails. Scattered around the perimeter of the restaurant are tables for diners to relax and enjoy a filling Irish meal. The pub features dark wood throughout, and the walls are adorned with classic beer posters and football team flags. The restaurant frequently hosts live music and small theatrical performances, adding to the rousing and energetic atmosphere. Diners can select from a full-restaurant menu including an assortment of Kieran's favorites such as corned beef and cabbage and steak and mushroom pie.
Diners can enjoy the food and atmosphere at Kieran's from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday (as of January 2010).

Keegan's Irish Pub

Keegan's Irish Pub features dark wood and stained glass accents throughout the dining room. The family-owned restaurant features a full bar that offers a variety of draft or bottled beers as well as an assortment of wines and cocktails. Diners can select from an extensive menu that features favorites such as cheddar onion soup, forty shades of green salad and classic fish 'n chips. A selection of more formal dinner entrees, including filet mignon and meat loaf, are also available. Diners can even enjoy brunch specialties such as traditional Irish breakfasts and eggs Benedict on select days. All of the restaurant's meal offerings are economically priced, allowing diners to enjoy the Irish flavors without emptying their wallets. The restaurant hosts a rotating selection of activities, including sporting events and quiz bowl challenges. Live music is featured on the 17th of several months, honoring upcoming St. Patrick Day's celebrations. Those looking to experience a piece of real Irish tradition can stop by on the last Saturday of every month, which is designated as kilt night. The hours at Keegan's vary seasonally and are dependent upon featured events.

O'Donovan's Irish Pub

O'Donovan's offers a warm, cozy pub atmosphere and hearty Irish food. O'Donovan's was originally built in Ireland. The structure was then disassembled and shipped to Minneapolis, where it was re-assembled. The family-run restaurant features traditional Irish workmanship throughout and an eclectic array of Irish and sports-themed accents. The restaurant offers an assortment of authentic Irish foods that are imported directly from Ireland, including Heinz baked beans and Tipperary still water. A number of Irish dishes include Finnegan's fry fish and chips and Beef & Murphy's stout pie. The restaurant also offers an extensive array of foreign and domestic beers, including a featured selection of beers from Ireland. By-the-glass wines and cocktails are also available for guests' enjoyment. Diners can enjoy a rotating selection of dinner and happy hour specials, featuring reduced priced meal favorites and alcoholic beverages. The hours at O'Donovan's vary seasonally.
