The city of Couer d'Alene, Idaho, is in the northern part of Idaho and has a population of 41,328. The town has become increasingly popular with tourists due to resorts such as the Silver Mountain Resort and the Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort located in nearby Sandpoint. Other attractions include Lake Couer d'Alene, which provides visitors with 25 acres of water activities that include boating, swimming, water skiing and fishing.
