Indian Tandoor
As the only Indian restaurant actually located in the city of Poway, Indian Tandoor provide customers with Indian cuisine for both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. The spicy and authentic flavors of the cuisine are traditional. For vegans, the Bhindi Masala, an okra dish with tomato, onion, garlic and ginger, is a popular choice. There is a vast array of dishes made with homemade Indian cheese and many past visitors rave about the Paneer Bhurji, with cheese cooked with peas, peppers, onions and tomatoes. Regardless of your stance on meat, everyone can enjoy the Kabuli Naan bread filled with sweet cherries, nuts and raisins.
The meat dishes are just as popular here and include your choice of shrimp, chicken or lamb. The Shrimp Saag is exquisite, blending shrimp, spinach and herbs into a flavorful curry sauce that is a perfect accompaniment to the Chicken Biryani.

India Princess
When it comes to food on the India Princess menu, every recipe reflects Executive Chef Jesse Singh's cultural upbringing in New Dehli. Try the Shahi Korma, lamb with creamy sauce sprinkled with cashews and raisins, or the Mushroom Mutter, made with fresh mushrooms and peas in a mild, but flavorful sauce. If you want to try a little bit of everything, indulge in the restaurant's daily buffet meal. The weekend brunches come with complimentary champagne. If you prefer your Indian food spicy though, it is best to order directly off the menu; while the waiters allow you to order your food based on your tolerance to spice, the buffet is kept very mild in order to satisfy the majority of clients.

Passage to India Restaurant
Passage to India offers both buffet options (including a weekend champagne brunch) and a la carte menu items. The Lamb Samosas are tender and flaky, while the Mango Chicken is simultaneously sweet and spicy. Whatever you end up eating, the dishes here default a little on the spicier side than the other two restaurants, so cool down your palate with a refreshing mango or rose lassi. Also, always save room for dessert, as the sweet, yet savory, Gajar Halwa, made of shredded carrots with milk, spices, nuts and raisins is one of several dessert options.
