Ober Gatlinburg is a combination ski resort and amusement park nestled high in the mountains above Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It is the only resort which offers skiing in the state, and the only one also combined with an amusement park. It offers snow tubing as well as skiing for both the advanced skier and the beginner. The resort also provides an indoor ice skating rink and a scenic chair lift. The amusement park features attractions such as the bungee run, the alpine slide, water rides, a shooting range and an arcade. Ober Gatlinburg also offers shopping opportunities where visitors can find souvenirs, homemade fudge, T-shirts and sportswear. The full-service restaurant provides guests with fantastic views of the Smoky Mountains. There is also a variety of lodging options available near Ober Gatlinburg, including a large selection of cabins.
