Kiwi Cove Lodge
Purchased in 1994, this 10.2-acre property was once a vacant lot with thick overgrowth. Its owners, Doug and Peggy Kolosoff, built the 9,000-square-foot lodge in 2001 and planted 132 kiwi vines around it. Today the lodge offers both room and cottage accommodations. The two-story lodge has four rooms with their own private entrance on the main floor and eight rooms with private decks on the upper floor. All rooms include a free full breakfast and complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access. For bigger groups, the 1,200-square-foot Kiwi Cottage is fully equipped with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full-size kitchen, wood stove, cable television, free wireless high-speed Internet access and two sofa beds. A third bedroom with private entrance also is available on the west side of the cottage. Cottage guests can enjoy a full breakfast for a minimal fee. For outdoor recreation, guests can explore the McNab's Corn Maze, which is less than two miles away or enjoy bungee jumping, treetop climbing and zip lining at the Bungy Zone, which is three miles away.
