RV Parks in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming

Grand Teton National Park, home to spectacular scenery, abounds with recreational opportunities including hiking, fly fishing, horseback riding and a number of river- and lake-based activities such as kayaking, canoeing, float trips and whitewater rafting. For those traveling to the park in their RV, there are two RV parks located within the park's boundaries. If these parks are full, there are also RV parks located just outside Grand Teton National Park's boundaries in nearby Jackson, Wyoming. Because Grand Teton National Park is a very popular destination during the summer months, those wishing to stay within the park should plan to make reservations well in advance of their planned stay.

Colter Bay

The Colter Bay Village RV park is located just a short walk from Jackson Lake in the heart of Grand Teton National Park. This RV park features 112 pull-through sites, each of which includes standard hookups for water, sewer and electricity. Each site also has its own picnic tables for easy outdoor dining. Colter Bay Village includes a marina, general store, museum, laundry facilities and showers. Recreation options at Colter Bay Village include numerous hiking trails, guided horseback riding, guided fishing trips, watercraft rental and lake cruises. Colter Bay Village is typically open between late May and late September.

Flagg Ranch Resort

The Flagg Ranch Resort is located within Grand Teton National Park near the Snake River. The RV park (and campground) features pull-through sites each with full hook-up, picnic table and fire pit. Resort amenities include a restaurant, grocery store, gift shop and gas station. Recreational activities offered by the Flagg Ranch Resort include guided horseback riding, guided fly fishing trips, float trips, whitewater rafting, national park tours and kayak excursions in Yellowstone National Park. The RV park is open during the late spring to early fall months (typically May to October) only.

The Virginian Lodge

There are also several RV parks located just outside Grand Teton National Park in Jackson, Wyoming. One of the closest RV parks is located at The Virginian Lodge. The RV park at this lodge includes 105 sites, including 64 pull-through sites. Each site features full hook-ups and access to restrooms with showers and laundry facilities. RV park guests have access to the resort's swimming pool and hot tub. The resort also has a restaurant, bar/liquor store and hair/tanning salon. The resort's RV park is typically open between May 1 and October 15.
