The Smithville Inn
The historic Smithville Inn, also located in the Village Greene, has been in operation since 1787. Smithville Inn should be considered when interested in a upscale meal or for a fancy holiday celebration. Dine in one of three dining rooms: the Baremore Tavern Room, a casual atmosphere with a bar and cozy brick fireplace; the Patio Room, overlooking Lake Meone and well-kept gardens; or the Captain's Room, a fancy dining area complete with live piano music on Fridays and Saturdays. AJ's on the Lake
AJs on the Lake in the Village Greene serves breakfast lunch and dinner. Owners Angel Soto and Jake Cohen previously worked together at Hannah G's before opening AJ's on the Lake in 2006. Fresh ingredients go into every meal, and its homemade dressings, sauces, soups and unique condiments make AJ's a success. Customer favorites include its crab melt, pot roast, the farmer's omelet, and the crab cakes, which can be ordered as a platter or an appetizer, complete with lump crab meat in lemon butter white wine sauce, served with raspberry tartar sauce.
