Oak-Mar Motel
The Oak-Mar Motel is located across the street from the hospital in Oakland and just 7 miles from the tourist area of Deep Creek Lake. The Garrett Inn displays a piece of Garrett County history in each of the 25 rooms at the hotel. The hotel is located at the northern end of Oakland, just 7 miles from Deep Creek Lake. Photographs of the Oakland and Deep Creek areas from today and past decades decorate each of the rooms. The rooms at the Garrett Inn feature two queen-sized beds each. Each room offers a microwave and refrigerator. There is a two night minimum stay at the Garrett Inn on weekends and major holidays including Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Long Branch Saloon and Motel
The Long Branch Saloon is a 5-minute drive from the downtown shopping area of Oakland, Maryland. It is themed after the wild west, with each of the 12 rooms being named after famous characters from American history such as Wild Bill Hickok and Billy the Kid. Two of the rooms have a sitting area and one of the rooms is ADA handicapped compliant. All of the rooms have two double beds, a refrigerator, microwave and free wireless Internet access.
