Groff's Restaurant
Groff's Restaurant started out with humble beginnings as a hot dog stand before becoming a full service restaurant in 1937. Originally opened by Earl M. Groff, the restaurant has changed hands in the family over the years. In 1947, Earl's sons Al and Paul took over, and today, Al's son, Earl A. Groff, his wife, and their children run the establishment. Groff's offers a variety of homemade American foods made with an Amish touch. The menu sports favorites such as ham, fried chicken, turkey and gravy. There are plenty of seafood dishes, including New Jersey clam cakes, broiled or fried seafood combos, crab imperial, and much more. Hearty portions are served with a choice of three sides or pasta. Kids' menu available. Groff's is a bring-your-own-bottle establishment. Check their Web site for a coupon for a slice of Groff's popular homemade pie.
