Laughlin, Nevada, is known as a destination for gaming and outdoor adventure. Just across the river from Bullhead City, Arizona, Laughlin attracts more than 5 million visitors a year. With more than 300 days of sunshine per year, Laughlin's average temperature is 75 degrees and adventurers can explore the Colorado River, the nearby Black Mountains, Christmas Tree Pass, Grapevine Canyon, Lake Mojave, Lake Mead and Oatman, Arizona, all of which are within a 100-mile radius of Laughlin.

Riverside Resort RV Park

Don Laughlin, the man for whom the city was named, opened the Riverside Resort in 1966, and it was the first casino built in the town. The hotel has an on-site RV camp that has pull-through and back-in sites with 30- or 50-amp electricity hookups. Water, sewage and cable television are also provided. The casino that hosts this resort has a bowling alley, gaming tables, slot machines, restaurants, an arcade, shopping, concerts, dancing swimming pools, wave-runner rentals, riverboat cruises, and a spa.

Big Bend of the Colorado Recreation Area

The Big Bend State Recreation Area opened in 1996 on the shores of the Colorado River, just five miles south of Laughlin's center. The facility offers RV sites with electricity and water hookups and showers. The park provides a swimming pool and picnic tables and a boat ramp lagoon. Hiking, boating and fishing are also option. The park has a private boat launch for guest use. Along the shoreline, shaded ramadas are available, some of which have built-in picnic tables and barbecue grills. All areas of the park are first come-first served.

Avi Casino KOA

The KOA RV Campsite in Laughlin is located 11 miles from the Laughin strip and directly across from the Avi Casino. Round-the-clock shuttle service to the caisno is provided, and KOA guests are entitled to all the same privileges as hotel guests. This means campers have access to the casino's gaming floor, a private white sand beach, a boat launch, several restaurants, a heated lagoon swimming pool and an eight-screen movie theater. Pull-through spaces are up to 90 feet long, and 50-amp electrical service is available and cable television hookups are provided at no extra charge. Complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access is provided.
