RV Campsites in Fredricksburg, Texas

RV Campsites in Fredricksburg, Texas
Fredricksburg, Texas, has a vibrant German background, being settled mainly by German immigrants in the mid-1800s. Early settlers developed their own dialect: Texas German. The Meusebach-Comanche Peace Treaty is one of the few that has been upheld for more than 150 years. Today, the Fredricksburg area still displays German-influenced architecture, art and culture. In addition to Bavarian restaurants, German bakeries and restaurants, it has a pioneer museum with authentic souvenirs from Germany that were brought over by the settlers. The hilly terrain and multiple streams and waterways make it a destination for adventurers and history/culture buffs.
